Website design and development

Websites your marketing team can update, built in Webflow or WordPress

A new site or a redesign, handled end to end by one person. Strategy and UX through design, development, launch, and the training for your team.

30 minutes, and you keep the three fixes either way.

Who it's for

When your site needs a developer for every change

It was built fast, or built by someone who has moved on, or built before the business looked the way it looks now.

Updating it is painful, it doesn't reflect what you sell, and it isn't bringing in the work it should.

What you get

What's included in a website design and development project

Everything your website needs to launch successfully, with a clear scope and no surprise add-ons.

Before we design

Discovery and strategy

We work out what the site needs to do, who your audience is, and what has to change for it to work.

UX and information architecture

How the site is organized, what people find first, and how they get from interested to ready to buy.

While we build

Design from your brand and content

Type, color, and layout that come out of what you actually sell. Not a template you squeeze into.

Webflow or WordPress CMS

Front-end code that's clean, fast, responsive, and editable by your team without breaking it.

Technical SEO from the start

Structure, metadata, schema and redirects mapped before launch, so nothing that ranks today ends up at a 404.

Accessibility during the build

Tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as we go. A formal conformance statement is a separate audit and I'll refer you out.

Before you launch

Analytics configuration

Analytics and tracking set up the day of go-live, so data starts collecting from day one.

Training and documentation

A walkthrough and documentation, so your team owns the site the day I hand it over.

How it works

The five stages of a website redesign, and what you see at each

  1. Discovery and strategy

Goals, audience, and what the site has to accomplish.

  2. UX and visual design

Wireframes then visual design, reviewed together at each stage.

  3. Build and device testing

Built in Webflow or WordPress, tested across devices as we go.

  4. Speed, SEO and accessibility

Speed, SEO, accessibility, and analytics before anything goes live.

  5. Launch and handover

Migration, QA, training, and a proper handover.

For the approval conversation

What you can take to your boss

  • A scope with a fixed price and fixed dates

So nobody is approving an open-ended number.

  • How you'll measure it after launch

Analytics and key events set up before launch, so you can show what changed and what it did.

  • One person on the other end of the email

When your CEO asks a question on Thursday, you have an answer by Friday.

Pricing

A fixed price, and why the number comes after a conversation

You get a fixed price after a discovery conversation, not an hourly estimate that drifts as we go. Scope is what moves the number: how many pages, how much content, and how many systems have to talk to each other.

I'll tell you early if what you want and what you have budgeted aren't the same thing. Neither of us should spend three weeks finding that out.

Common questions

Questions about a website redesign project

How long does a site take?

Most builds run 6 to 8 weeks from kickoff to launch. The variable is content. If yours is written and approved, it's the short end. If it needs writing, add a few weeks and we'll plan for it up front rather than discovering it in week six.

Who owns the site?

You do, from day one. The Webflow project or the WordPress install lives in your account, on your billing. Design files, content, analytics, all yours. If we stop working together you keep everything.

What if something is wrong after launch?

For 30 days after launch, anything not working the way we agreed I fix at no charge. After that it's a care plan or hourly, your call.

Do you write the content?

I'll tell you what each page needs to do and how long it should be, and I'll edit what you write. If you need it written from scratch, I'll bring in someone I trust and it goes in the scope.

Can you work with our procurement?

Yes. MSA, purchase order, W-9, certificate of insurance. Tell me what your process needs and when, ideally before we're three weeks from launch.

Next step

Thirty minutes on your site, and you keep what I find

Whether or not we work together, I'll send you the three things I'd fix first.

I'll come back within two business days with whether I'm the right fit and what it would take.
